Developed by academic research at the University of Helsinki in Finland, this program is proven to be effective in enhancing children's learning performance.
We invite young scientists into fascinating problem-solving by stepping in an imaginary science scenario - the fantasy world called Supraland. To empower children to become active agents in their learning, children play the role of a real scientist that solve real problems.
To help our friends who live in Supraland, we do hands-on experiments. Hands-on learning is highly beneficial for connecting abstract phenomena to actual observations from real-life situations.
While doing experiments, we focus on learning science process skills and building scientific vocabulary. Learning science process skills benefit children instead of rote learning of factual knowledge. Mastering how to think and act scientifically has a profound effect on a child's ability to learn in the future.
Learning scientific thinking in early childhood predicts better learning outcomes in school. We support children’s scientific thinking through play-based learning.
The little scientist will explore about different weather-related natural phenomenon, such as water cycle, wind and the formation of rainbow and vortex etc.
The pedagogy of the program is grounded on rigorous scientific research by the founder of Kide Science, PhD Jenni Vartiainen.
The learning outcomes of the program is proven by the University of Helsinki, Finland.
The pedagogy and education quality are certified by the Education Alliance Finland.
"The teachers were very patient in explaining science principles. I did not expect my child at this young age can understand those concepts!"
"My kid explained to me the entire science process of the class! She enjoyed the class a lot and learnt some science principles. There is even a take-home experiment kit!"
"My child enjoyed the 75-minute class very much. He couldn't wait to do the experiment again at home!"
Kide Science develops young children’s scientific thinking skills through engaging hands-on experiments that solve real science problems.
A proven pedagogical method predicts better learning outcomes in school and is based on years of rigorous academic research conducted by Founder Jenni Vartiainen, PhD.
